Getting error "unable to authenticate session" after applying a Patch

Maintenance mode warning after applying a Patch

Error Codes

The system has not been taken off maintenance mode completely. Please contact your System Administrator.

Cause:

SQL> SELECT FND_PROFILE.VALUE('APPS_MAINTENANCE_MODE') as status FROM DUAL;

STATUS

-----------------------

NORMAL

The Maintenance mode is disabled.   But I can also see warning when I login into  EBS R12 application “The system has not been taken off maintenance mode completely Please contact your System Administrator” 

Solution A :

1.) execute the command :
adoacorectl.sh stop

2.) execute the command :
adoacorectl.sh start

3.) Retest the issue

Solution B :

Bounce Apache

1. adapcctl.sh stop

2. adapcctl.sh start

3. Retest the issue
